Strawberry Shortcake


全家老小都愛吃strawberry shortcake,基本上是sponge cake topped with strawberry sauce & whipped cream, 前幾天剛好新鮮草莓降價,買ㄌ一盒,本來要做strawberry jam,因為發覺一直在用ㄉSmucker's果醬,也不天然,後來找到一些不添加一堆東東,和corn syrup & high fructose corn syrup,完全用果汁ㄉ果醬,所以就先做ㄌstrawberry sauce,給老公解饞...自己打ㄉ鮮奶油=whipped cream,真ㄉ很簡單,又香ㄉ不得了,大家一定要試試...

草莓+brown sugar+juice from 1/2 lime+lime zest+orange zest+some water...


做好當天,K寶就嚷著要吃,還沒做sponge cake,只好抹在麵包上,當果醬吃...再加新鮮草莓,結果第二天ㄉstrawberry shortcake,就沒新鮮草莓用ㄌ,其實strawberry sauce裡,煮過ㄉ草莓,雖不好看,放在whipped cream上,才好吃,新鮮ㄉ草莓是拍照好看...


又玩ㄌ起來ㄌ...


味道不錯lime juice & zest 可以少放些,以免蓋過草莓香味...


第二天做ㄌ檸檬sponge cake,這次又修ㄌ一下食譜做法,吃起來綿密濕潤,像蜂蜜蛋糕,打好ㄉwhipped cream,拿來練擠花,買ㄌ不知多久ㄉ擠花工具,一直沒用,剛好拿來用...買whipping cream/heavy cream,直接用hand mixer打5分鐘,就好ㄌ,很簡單,邊打邊加white sugar(我不用confectioner's sugar,因為有corn starch)...要香一點,再加一點點vanilla extract...


Lime zest 做成糖漬,會更好吃,下次再做...


K寶看到照片又再叫要吃...做ㄌ兩條,昨天和K寶吃掉一條,老公回來吃ㄌ好幾塊,說好吃,還要更甜,真是誇張,蛋糕用ㄌ比平常將近兩倍ㄉ糖,上面淋滿ㄌ甜ㄉ像糖漿ㄉstrawberry sauce,還要更甜? 真是一隻大蒼蠅...
