糖漬金桔*Candied Kumquats

糖漬金桔...大概是我做過的candied fruits,最好吃的水果漬品,不論在口感或香味上,都是上上選...作法也相當簡單,所以說,美食並不一定都要花很多時間精神去做,或是要稀奇珍貴的食材,才能成就美食,美食常常是簡單新鮮的天然材料,加上一點兒簡單烹飪/烤炙/生鮮+醬汁調味等適當烘托,即可流露出食物本身的千百種天然風味...附食譜做法...Updated Jan 02, 2014...

標題雖然有點誇張,但是這批暴龍相當喜愛的Italian dunkers,有pillow-soft texture,不過如果根據暴龍的標準,mozzarella可以再多一些,最好蓋的滿滿,看不到下面的rolls為止XD...附食譜做法...

暴龍的生日蛋糕*30%全麥Chocolate Chiffon Cake w/ Candied Kumquats & Peanut Butter Frosting



這個蛋糕,完全是依照暴龍喜歡的口味做的=他最愛的chocolate chiffon cake + peanut butter frosting...暴龍剛從加拿大演講回來,一進門,我正在上frosting...我說:猜猜看是啥口味的frosting? 暴龍笑著說:我老遠就可以聞到peanut butter的香味...吃完晚飯後,暴龍迫不及待的說要吃他的生日蛋糕,還一邊催著慢慢吃著spaghetti的K寶...附食譜做法...

糖葫蘆*Candy-Coated Strawberries

雖然標題叫糖葫蘆,但已經相去甚遠,既不是酸小梨子/李子在內部,也沒有葫蘆形狀,叫糖葫蘆,只是大家容易想像,這個candy-coated strawberries的口感,想做這個是要K寶嚐嚐我小時候最愛吃的零嘴之一,K寶吃得很開心,說像是在嚼玻璃...附食譜做法...

Candied orange/Minneola peels是很好做又好吃的,小朋友愛吃的甜食,不過吃完要好好刷牙,不然容易黏牙/蛀牙,好吃程度,比外面賣的一些添加香精色素的軟糖,都要好吃幾倍,尤其是天然濃郁的橘子/柳橙味,加上QQ口感,更是人間美味...附食譜做法...

Kate's Birthday Cake*30%全麥Chiffon蛋糕



K寶和暴龍一樣愛吃chocolate cake,但是前一陣子吃了不少brownies,所以做了honey lime chiffon cake with chocolate frosting,K寶和暴龍都愛吃的很,這個cake超級軟綿及moist,是用參了30% whole wheat的all-purpose flour做的,不但有一些全麥的營養,也沒有添加zinc, iron, etc.,一些有的沒的supplements...附食譜做法...02/08/2013 updated...
